It's true that the X- Pilled meme format was spawned by a generation that copes with shunned masculinity and the side effects of increased time spent alone in online spaces where things often get very polarized.

I wouldn't really argue with the tyla.com description of the red pill phenomenon. It's one of many unfortunate cancers that are killing the Internet and the world.

But the meme format is here regardless of where it came from. You wouldn't argue with sigma, another meme spawned by this culture that isn't going anywhere.

Furthermore: There are women who know about the black pill. I promise you.

All of these definitions go back to as early as 2017 and have in common the attempt to distinguish themselves from the red pill wave that was hitting the Internet during that time.

Yeah, the black pill is difficult

I admit the fact that young people feel this jaded before they are old enough to be let down isn't great. However it is the divisive nature of modern ideology that pushes people into these worlds.

Young men are going to collect in places where people say things are gay and retarded. What they need is a positive male figure to shoot the shit with them about stuff that doesn't matter and redirect the things they're interested in into something better. They don't need someone that runs screaming when they hear "blackpilled."

It's like telling teenagers in the 1950s that marijuana was going to cause them to do a psychotic murder spree. By the 60s, people who interacted with that culture realized it wasn't quite that bad, and no one took people with authority lecturing them about that subject seriously again.

It's either intentional dishonestly or it comes from the race to spin everything a certain way.

Why this matters

Questioning, "what's the point of it all?" isn't a new thing. It's a part of the human experience that many people have gone through for ages. Some people push through it and find some way to deal with those feelings. Maybe there are some that take another way out. That's the world -- not a new thing right? Part of the human experience for sure.

Let me tell you about a common Internet tactic

People are right now quietly watching the Internet and they're waiting for the next keyword they can latch on to and push their stuff. They're waiting for the next big trend in music, whether that's punk rock, reggae, vaporwave, in Twitter hash tags, and 4chan memes to take the masses so they can side step in and re-contextualize those phenomenons for themselves, effectively erasing the previous culture and replacing it with their own.

That's actually how a lot of these ideas got pushed through where they took over the deep Internet, which existed long before any of this. Those people are exploiting the meta and winning, meanwhile we have absolute fucking losers who are taking a break from hyperventilating into paper bags and moderating Reddit to say:
